Suspension of Student Loan Interest

We are living through a national emergency right now, in which future history books will record as the COVID-19 virus epidemic. This crisis isn't only affecting the physical health of the world, but also the economy’s unemployment rate. Now if you’re unemployed, how are you going to pay your student loans?

To ease this burden, President Trump along with US Secretary of Education Betsy Devos has promised to provide student loan relief for the next 6 months. Here are the details:

  • Your loans must be held by the U.S Department of Education

  • Eligible loans and interest rates will be frozen beginning March 13th, 2020

Moving Forward....

This grievance period will remain in effect until September 30th . You don’t have to make a request to be pardoned, nevertheless continue to make payments if you can.
